Gillett Associates

Gillett Associates was retained to design a two story office and manufacturing facility located along the I-275 corridor in Canton Township. Lotus International is a QS 9000 company focused on the research and development of LCD and CRT screens for automotive applications and for the consumer market. They specialize in providing innovative and advance solutions for the electronics and automotive industry.

The main interior feature of the Building is the 12,000 square foot Class 1000 Clean room allowing for the inspection, repair and validation of LCD panels up to 50 inches. Also as part of the project a 45,000 square foot assembly and integration line were installed to manufacture 27” to 32” televisions and flat panel monitors. The rest of the facility is used for warehousing the product in its process of waiting to be shipped to other television manufacturers around the world.
