This speculative 68,150 s.f. single story office/ warehouse building was designed to meet the requirements of the tenant (Michigan Department of Environmental Quality) for LEED certification. The project was able to achieve Silver certification status based on construction methods, material selections and building systems.

Some examples of the green building features include a reflective roof membrane, increased insulation, energy saving light fixtures, water conserving fixtures, low VOC paints, sealants, carpet and wood products to name a few. The project also features an in pipe storm water detention system and native landscape plantings.
