Gillett Associates was selected to design the corporate headquarters and operations facility for rapidly growing

ITC Holdings.

The project consisted of the development of an 84 acre site with a substantial amount of woodlands and wetlands. Due to the critical nature of the client's operations, an extensive amount of security infrastructure was designed around the facility to limit access and protect the buildings from a variety of natural disaster and terrorist scenarios. The facility also incorporates many state of the art energy saving and energy management systems along with emergency generators and backup systems which will allow the Control Room facility to maintain operations 24/7 during any event. The design process was initiated in September of 2006 and the client moved into the facility on April 1, 2008.
